Journalist

The Position:

To provide insights into consumer dynamics regarding educational technology in general. The journalist is expected to have experience in interviewing and research methods. He or she is expected to design and write questionnaires, manage execution, and deliver articles from interviews from the national, regional, or international perspective. The journalist will get the opportunity to interview on groundbreaking new technologies while networking with professionals from prestigious businesses and institutions. 

The position requires a professionalism in english and/or Norwegian, thinking on your feet, having a quantitative mind set, and a strong detail orientation. You will ensure quality, enthusiasm, and accuracy across the project milestones.

The successful candidate will:

• Work among a team of web-designers, journalists, and CxO's to deliver trending news that delivers impact.
• Have strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the diverse team and have great news sense, with the ability to communicate stories that people will want to share, like and talk about on social media and other platforms. 

 Requirements

• Applicants must be able to explain complex stories in clear and compelling ways, and do so swiftly and accurately on tight deadlines.
• The successful candidate must be able to work effectively as a member of a team, and should have some experience at a daily newspaper, broadcast station, online or digital news outlet.

Other qualifications:

• +1 year study within a bachelor programme within Journalism, Business, Marketing, Social Sciences, Psychology, Sociology or a project which the candidate believes to be equivalent.
• Advanced-level professional competency in written and spoken English.
• Professional competency in Norwegian
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects across formats.
