At Kahoot! we champion a positive culture of collaborative learning and innovation. We’ve been growing steadily over the past year, and now as a team of 50+, we’ve raised more fundings, launched two mobile apps, Kahoot! Plus (a new version for organizations) and formulated our strategy for the coming year. We all have an exciting journey ahead!

Your day at Kahoot!:

The Software Tester will work closely with the QA Lead, development and product teams in Oslo and London to test and release new updates of Kahoots web (frontend), backend and mobile apps. This is an opportunity for students to get relevant work experience and to work for one of the most exciting and fun brands in the world.

Responsibilities:

  • Writing and executing manual test cases
  • Pro-actively exploratory testing – reporting and tracking defects/issues
  • Checking and exporting incoming bug reports from customers and test services
  • Retest and verify fixed issues
  • Flag important issues to be included in the development sprint
  • Chip into any other area that needs extra testing when needed

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has:

The right candidate has a passion for testing and delivering high quality software. He/she accepts that change is the only constant and that different circumstances require different solutions. He/she is proactive, not hesitating to suggest improvements.

This is a paid internship for a minimum six months.

Ideally you’ll also have:

  • Completed a relevant degree
  • Keen interest in gaming, the web and mobile apps
  • Familiar with agile software development
  • Ability to work independently without constant supervision
