Plus (a new version for organizations) and formulated our strategy for the coming year. We all have an exciting journey ahead!

Your day at Kahoot!:

The Test Manager will report to the QA Lead and will work closely with development and product teams. Day to day activities will involve testing, releasing new releases and updates to Kahoot!’s frontend web pages, backend and CRM.

Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for the releases maintaining high quality and performance
• Managing the test case repository, writing tests while making sure we have coverage and execute the right tests at the right time
• Testing using a variety of test techniques throughout from concept to delivery
• Have the full overview of the backlog, keeping it up-to-date and making sure all issues have the right amount of details
• Being the go-to person for any questions regarding the current state of the product
• Participate in sprint planning meetings and make sure the right issues are prioritized
• Chip into any other area that needs extra testing when needed, including mobile apps

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has:

• Minimum Bachelor Degree (preferably within Computer Science)
• Minimum 2 yrs hands-on experience in software testing
• Experience testing various web browsers, including Selenium for automated tests
• Experience testing payment solutions
• Experience testing backend APIs, including automated tests
• Experience in context-based, exploratory, or scenario testing
• Experience writing test cases with a strong intuition about what makes software break, designing tests to mitigate risks and help define requirements
• Familiar with agile software development
• Ability to work independently without constant supervision
