At Roger (www.roger.ai) we're building a new way for consumers and small businesses to take care of their bill payments and make their financial lives much more worry free. We're a tight-knit remote team based in San Francisco, Copenhagen and Vancouver.

We're looking for an experienced software engineer to lead our deep learning efforts around OCR. For engineers passionate about machine learning, this would be an opportunity for you to apply the latest deep learning techniques coming out of the research community into a popular real world application used by people every day.

We’d love to talk if you have experience with most of the following:

• Convolution Neural Networks 

• Computer Vision 

• Deploying Deep Neural Networks behind a REST API 

• Popular deep learning libraries like TensorFlow, Theano, or Keras 

• Handwriting Recognition or OCR using Neural Networks 

• OpenCV 

The product offering consists of an iOS, an Android and a web app - all of which are being used by both consumers and businesses today, with usage doubling month over month. This is an exciting chance to be part of a company at the very early stages with a product that is growing and being used.
