Blueprint Learning is looking for a Ruby on Rails developer to develop our platform for professional on demand e-learning. We are growing, and with it comes exciting challenges to solve with modern software. Our products include ADVOkurser.dk and REVIkurser.dk, and partner sites, where we target lawyers and accountants, and other professionals, with online courses. You will be joining a growing, dynamic team with a fun and relaxed work environment. Your skills will primarily be found in fullstack development with Ruby on Rails, but it is a clear bonus if you have frontend specifics like HTML/CSS (ninja-level skills not required) as well as working with agile development methods and test-driven development.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Develop our website including customer – and partner – facing platforms. (Ruby on Rails, MVC framework, object-oriented programming, SQL)

• Establish stability, safety and productivity in our software environment. (TDD)

• Design and implement customer and admin friendly features. (HTML/CSS, JavaScript)

• Monitor and scale the platform on cloud services.

• Create and integrate to APIs to improve the ecosystem of tools that Blueprint Learning utilizes. Incl. experience with RESTfull APIs.

• Work closely with the design team and the product team to ensure the best on demand learning system for professionals.

Your profile

You are familiar with the Ruby on Rails web framework as well as listed support skills. Experience with Heroku, Rspec, ES6, SASS, Liquid Templating, User Experience, Agile methodology and Trello is also appreciated.

We expect you to be fluent in English, and any additional languages incl. Danish is a plus. Our team is growing and we are currently 14 employees. We appreciate people who are willing to contribute to our start-up culture.

Blueprint Learning currently have two products targeting lawyers and accountants, ADVOkurser.dk and REVIkurser.dk. Our goal is to experience rapid growth in the introduction of new verticals.
