We are in need of an innovative, curious and ambitious candidate to take on the role as CTO of findweddingvenue.com. We know a lot about what the users and venues need, and now we have to build the much desired platform to help couples find the perfect venue for one of the most important days of their life!

We are looking for you, who

• Have spent a couple of years in an established company and have a good track record of working with systems going through the entire product lifecycle or been part of lean and growing start-up from the early days.
• Are highly skilled in React & Javascript.
• Have some experience with, or at least interest in Graph Database, Micro Services and Machine Learning.
• Can help us make the right choices on tech-stack early on.
• Have experience with building and/or working on databases.
• Are not afraid to use off-the-shelf solutions and have a good overview of available solutions we can connect to our platform.
• Always put design and UX first when making solutions.
• (Preferably) Can work from our Oslo based office (not required).

Responsibilities

You will be the lead developer for our new platform and new system modules based on client requests and new possibilities

You will:

• Work with the existing stack we have set up for our beta version to further improve it
• Work out the best solutions for the new platform
• Set the development stack and IT frameworks
• Hire & manage a team of developers
• Evaluate new technology and make decisions on technological solutions with the founders
• Lead the development of our platform (full responsibility for the code).
• Hands-on development: Write new code and improve existing code quality.
• Work closely with the founders of findweddingvenue.com
