We are looking for a Tech Lead or an experienced Senior Software Developer, with both strategic and operational experience. The role reports to CEO, and you will work close with the management and external development partners. After launching our web app and closing new funding rounds in 2017 we are looking to scale operations in 2018 and the hiring of our tech lead is a critical keystone in that strategy. We are looking for an outstanding and motivated tech lead to join the team as soon as possible, alternatively an awesome Senior Developer with ambitions to grow into the position.

As part of the Correlate management team you will be tasked with driving and executing the technical vision and development of our user-friendly SaaS web and mobile applications, back-end architecture, technical decisions, industry insights and trends as well as to take an active role in building your own team with both internal and external resources & partners. However this is a startup so we also expect you to challenge and add value to our strategy, ideas and plans.

Key responsibilities

• Help shape the future of Correlate as a member of the management team 
• Take the leading role in developing and implementing our technical strategy, including architecture, production environment, development processes, and software stack
• Own the development code and roadmap 
• Actively manage the delivery and QA processes with our external development resources
• Be involved in building up our development capacity including internal and external resources
• Stay on top of trends and solutions that could add value to our technical strategy 

Qualifications 

• Minimum 5 years experience as a Full-Stack or backend developer of SaaS solutions
• Shared interest and dedication to user driven UX/UI development processes
• Strong experience and passion for popular SaaS open source and web technologies including Javascript, CSS, HTML, React, Angular, NodeJS, MongoDB, Phython.
• Knowledge and comfort working with internal and external iOS and mobile development
• Past experience in implementing and managing PaaS solutions AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Motivated and proactive work ethic to drive deliveries on time and on scope. 
• Crazy enough to take on a startup challenge and excel with a “figure it out” attitude
• Are located in Oslo, Norway or willing to move to the Oslo area
