We are looking for a full-time Growth Director on our journey building the future of work. As Growth Director, you will be responsible for establishing, building and scaling Graphiq’s growth marketing strategy, setting priorities, execute on goals, hire a world-class team, and deliver on ambitious revenue goals.

 

Position Description - Why We Are Hiring

Graphiq was founded two years ago and so far built the largest collective of hand-picked freelance designers in Norway with a growing client list. Together with financial support from prominent private investors we are ready to scale in Norway and then internationally, but we need you to join us.

We are looking for a full-time Growth Director on our journey building the future of work. As Growth Director, you will be responsible for establishing, building and scaling Graphiq’s growth marketing strategy, setting priorities short, mid and long term, execute on goals, hire a world-class team, and deliver on ambitious revenue goals. 

You will contribute and grow the company’s revenue with $10M+ the first year working at the intersection of business, design, technology, analytics and marketing. You will be leading and prioritising all digital performance marketing channels. 

You will work with the executive team to set Graphiq’s long-term growth marketing strategies and guide the company’s growth trajectory to a new high.

 

Responsibilities - What You’ll Do

  • Work with Graphiq’s executive team to set and execute a growth marketing strategy and roadmap for Graphiq short, mid and long-term.
  • Determine the KPIs and build the dashboards that you and the future Growth Team needs to execute effectively in the context of the larger goals.
  • Get your hands dirty and execute the growth marketing strategy set by you.
  • Contribute in the interviewing and hiring of new team members and freelancers as we build a Growth Team.


The Plan - What You’ll Do After Joining

First week

  • Onboard and integrate into Graphiq
  • Learn Graphiq’s business model, brand purpose and story

 

First month

  • Run minor marketing hacks for short term wins
  • Set the growth marketing strategy and roadmap for Graphiq moving forward

 

First 3 months

  • Determine the KPIs and build the dashboard
  • Run, analyse and optimise marketing initiatives

 

First 6 months

  • Execute on your growth marketing strategy

 

First 12 months

  • Plan, attract and build a growth team to execute on your strategy
  • Refine growth strategy to enter new markets or expand service offering


Requirements - What We Are Looking For

  • A team player who contributes positively to a growing team, have a positive mind set and have strong collaboration skills.
  • 2 years+ experience within the B2B marketing field, preferably with SaaS or Marketplaces.
  • The skill and motivation to formulate and shape a startup’s growth marketing strategy and prioritise accordingly.
  • The skill and motivation to develop, prioritise, plan, execute, analyse and optimise marketing initiatives in necessary digital marketing channels.
  • Track record working with marketing initiatives showing a positive ROI.
  • Marketing technology stack understanding. You can figure out which marketing technologies are most fundamental to achieve the growth strategy and how to use them.
  • International experience or mindset. We are building an international company.
  • You have the experience or the motivation to recruit, build and lead a growth team.
  • You must have strong written and oral communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and a desire to develop your skills.

 

Bonus points

  • Knowledge within the PR, marketing, design or consultancy industry in Norway.
  • Graphic and web design skills to execute simple marketing initiatives.

It’s a tough challenge for companies to find freelance designers who can deliver top-tier design with good communication abilities. And most designers use too much time selling in new projects, invoicing, keeping control of taxes and monthly reporting of VAT.  Graphiq bridges these two groups by making it easy for customers to find handpicked freelancers to collaborate with. Also, freelancers working through Graphiq receive loads of design projects letting them focus on what they love, design, rather than all the administrative work. We have a really good relationship with all our customers and designers. For instance one of our designers, Mia, sent us lately a picture of her working on a beach in Florida adding an ironic text about "how terrible it has been working for Graphiq”. Before she started freelancing through Graphiq, she did not have the opportunity to make a living designing. Now she says that thanks to Graphiq, she can focus solely on what she loves doing, namely design. That’s kind of our goal - we want everyone, freelancers and companies, to feel like Mia.
