You'll join our existing Web team to develop our web based client and public website. Your weapon of choice will be Ruby on Rails, working with a team with frontend HTML, CSS 3 and Javascript skills, as well as dedicated Backend and Design teams.

Vivino is seeking an experienced Ruby On Rails developer for our Copenhagen office, ready to join a vibrant start-up, building the world's #1 wine website.

You'll join our existing Web team to develop our web based client and public website. Your weapon of choice will be Ruby on Rails, working with a team with frontend HTML, CSS 3 and Javascript skills, as well as dedicated Backend and Design teams.

Your tasks

• Develop our public website and other customer- and partner-facing platforms
• Develop system-integrations with international E-commerce Partners driving wine sale across the world
• Work with the Web team for frontend html, css and Javascript tasks, implementing responsive designs, to make the solution shine on laptops as well as tablets
• Work with the Backend Team to create the APIs that powers the application
• Work with the Design Team to accentuate the strengths of a web based solution, and ensure that these are carried over to the design and UX

Your profile

You consider yourself an experienced web developer and are deeply familiar with the Ruby on Rails web framework. You excel at making the end-user experience fast, smooth and elegant. You're familiar with Test Driven Development. You are a curious, communicative person who is eager to learn.

You are ready to join a startup with few formal procedures and limits. You're not an asshole.
