Payr is building innovative online banking services for consumers and businesses. Our first product is a payment service making it easier to pay bills for people in the Nordics and save money while doing it. We are already a great team of 12, and we are now looking for a self-driven intern to take care of Payments Coordination in a company that is growing fast. With the possibility of joining us fulltime.
Responsibilities
- Perform payment processing and payment refunds
- Perform required operational tasks such as daily payment exports of remittance files and uploads to bank partner
- Recording day to day financial transactions and completing the posting process
- Verifying that transactions are recorded correctly in the accounting system, suppliers ledger, customer ledger and general ledger
- Work closely with customer service dept.
- Create and present reports to management team
Requirements
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Business or a related subject
- Experience using spreadsheets and formulas
- Fast learner
- Excellent multitasking skills
- Attentive to details
- Very structured, organized and focused
- Fluent in both English and Norwegian (in writing and speaking)
- Experience with Tripletex accounting software is a plus

We have international ambition, expanding to the Nordics next year. So you could say we have a pretty aggressive growth strategy as well. This makes most days hectic, but fun.We have 5 exits from other startups in our management team, so many of us have experience with doing this from before. Therefore, we try not to spend energy on stuff we know is going to be a waste of time. You could say we aim to have a professional way of running things, with systems to help everything run smoothly. Although we have high expectations for each other and our product, we also have a quite friendly environment, including a snoring office dog.
