We are currently looking for a entrepreneurial and talented fullstack Ruby on Rails developer. You will be in charge of development primarily focused on the backend. We are ideally looking for a seasoned developer with an experience working on applications and in a regulated space ie. FinTech. You will be part of a growing team with equally growing ambitions so we expect you to be an integral part of the team at a very early stage.

What you will be doing:

• Act as head of development and spearhead backend development on the core Ruby on Rails application. 
• Run development sprints and take the current application to the next level. 
• Get things done in a timely matter with a large degree of entrusted autonomy.
• Build new features and functionalities in cooperation with the product owner and frontend developers. 
• Building a scalable application that can work cross border with different languages.

What we are looking for:

• Has 3+ experience working with Ruby on Rails.
• Experience with building platforms on Postgres on Heroku.
• Experience working with RESTfull API’s. 
• Has both frontend and backend experience.
• Has experience being lead architect or lead developer.
• Has a holistic view of the company’s objectives and always keeps the task on track.
• Experience writing tests to ensure a robust and solid application.
• Has experience working with continous deployment and integration. 

It’s a plus if you have:

• Startup experience either as early team member or founder. 
• Experience working with video and IP-voice calling like Twillio or Tokbox.
• Experience and confidence working with frontend and keeping it simple using Slim, SCSS, partials etc.
