At Byrd we daily hunt for unicorns 🦄 in Asana and like to #️⃣Slack! We’re a bunch of sketchy 🔶Sketch artists who sometimes have a get-together in the Creative Cloud☁️. We’re looking for a UX talent to help us achieve great things. 💸It’s a paid position and we imagine that you are passionate about design and UX and let your mind run wild once in a while.

Byrd is a web- and mobile platform (Web & iOS launched, Android on its way) where media can crowdsource photo and video assignments and trigger-happy photographers can make some money. We work with the largest media organisations in Denmark, and we have just landed clients in our next market. We’ve exceeded growth expectations but to follow that hockey stick 🏒 and to take over the world 🌎 , we’ll need reinforcements.


Specifically, we need a UX student assistant with an eye for aesthetics to help us build wireframes and design mockups🥇✨. You'll be working on improving all of our apps in close collaboration with Christian, Chief Technology Officer. Also, you will help Mikkel, Chief Marketing Officer, with onboarding, campaign material and user acquisition. All from a creative point of view.

We imagine you are in one of your last semesters and this position is in line with what you are studying or want to do later in your career.

Qualifications:

✅  You must be a go-getter and a quick learner. We don’t expect you to know it all, but we do expect you to be eager to learn.

✅   You have a clear idea of how good products look and constantly consider the user journey when you do wireframes & mock ups.

✅   Experienced or at least familiar with Sketch, Illustrator and Photoshop.

✅   Solid communication skills in English

We’re very ambitious and goal-oriented and we always keep the spirit high. You’ll be part of this journey from the early days and have a huge impact on our way forward. We’ll make sure you’re fed. We provide a 27’ iMac workstation with all the applications necessary. The desk is adjustable, the chair is comfortable and the coffee is black enough to get praise from Agent Cooper himself. The pay is good, yet junior-level. You’ll be working in a challenging and ever-changing environment, which is physically placed in a beautiful co-working space in inner Østerbro, Copenhagen.
