Marketing Graphic Designer

Actimo is building the next generation of awesome HR and internal communication software for a broad spectrum of industries selling all kinds of products and services.

We’re a cloud-based mobile app designed to better facilitate dialogue between managers and their employees, while supporting on-the-job training and upskilling. Our platform is based on the innovative idea of gamified engagement, trackable analytics, and making complex training “snackable.”

Our aim is to help companies engage with their employees in more meaningful ways and be able to measure that engagement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop visual and written content for different email campaigns using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign.

Contribute new perspectives and ideas to the marketing team.

Mock up landing pages and implement them in Wordpress using the Visual Composer pulgin.

Create an assortment of visuals for the Actimo blog, landing pages, infographic creation, sales documents, client pitches and marketing presentations.

Work with the marketing team to develop unique design elements for a broad range of projects.

Update and own the stylesheet for all future marketing initiatives within Actimo.

Quickly create themed campaigns for social media that can be used across multiple channels.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Strong portfolio with examples of projects created with varied design elements.

3+ years of experience using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign.

2+ years of relevant experience using Wordpress or Drupal.

1-2 years experience creating websites or landing pages.

Experience using Trello, Jira, or other online project management tools.

PREFERRED PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

Open to feedback and taking direction during an iterative design process.

Ability to work independently, as well as in a collaborative team environment.

Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to learn about new industries, channels, etc.

Self-starter with a “can do” attitude who demonstrates initiative on a daily basis.

Time management, organisation and the ability to multi-task across a range of projects.

A deadline-driven mentality that doesn’t compromise on quality.

Fluent in English.

YOU WILL STAND OUT IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

Experience with Drupal, Wordpress, or other CMS platforms (specifically Visual Composer).

Have some HTML, PHP, and CSS experience.

An agency background and/or experience working in Agile and Scrum.

Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and creativity.

A diverse online portfolio of your designs.

Experience with Invisionapp.

Interest in being part of the startup culture.
