WHAT is a global social polling platform that enables anyone to share their honest opinions, or get reliable feedback from people anywhere in the world. We built WHAT to give the disenfranchised a vote on matters that impact their lives. We made it fun to answer questions, and easy to ask them. Our apps are globally available for download, and customers can make short polls to the community through our website. Our website needs improvement though, and we hope you can help us with that :-)

We offer a competitive salary as well as a creative and dynamic working environment. You will be responsible for the website and involved in all decisions involving web-tech, but also UI design, user experience, and analytics. Your contract will be a full-time standard ‘funktionær’ contract as we look for a person, who will be joining us in scaling our business to the world in the years to come. 

You should:

• Have at least 5 years of documented programming experience. Preferably, you have completed your education within software technology / IT (master level).
• Have at least 3 years of experience with web development (javascript, html, css and nodejs) and at least six months of experience with the Angular framework (typescript, rxjs and scss).

• Have working (near-native) proficiency in English.
• Be proficient using efficient algorithms and data structures.
• Be proficient with some sort of version control system for code (e.g., svn or git) and ideally experience using command line tools (if you know UNIX, you’re golden). 

• Have the ability to develop our web client independently while respecting our shared code base standards.
• Be passionate about learning, take pride in your handicraft and the quality of the software you develop.

The team consists of four people; three developers and one marketing person. Our office is located in central Copenhagen close to metro and with great facilities in a co-working space (own office) with good facilities including free parking, shower, several cantinas, good and free coffee / tea, reading- and study rooms and much more. 

Our work culture is focused but relaxed with flexible working hours. We care less where or when you work, as long as you communicate and deliver state-of-the-art solutions. Friday beers, team dinners, board game nights, and parties are part of the deal too.
