We are a startup that primarily works with digital marketing and sales, but we also function as consultants. We have many interesting clients, and a slew of exciting work to be done at all times. We are looking for an intern who will be updating, polishing and developing our WordPress sites, as well as those of our clients.

The job

At Naim Digital we have several WordPress sites with which we could use your help.

First, there is our own website, as well as a few other websites we own. Second, as what we do is online marketing, it is essential that our clients have functioning and optimized websites and landing pages, and they cannot always do this themselves. In the cases where their websites are in WordPress, we help them out when possible, which is what you would be doing as well.

In other words, you will not be getting anyone coffee (in fact, chances are that I'll be the one bringing you coffee), or working the copymachine, as there's more than enough work to do that will not only bring real value to us, but simultaneously give you insight into both actual WordPress work for clients, as well as what it is to function in a startup environment.

Requirements

The requirements list is short. To put it bluntly, we need someone who knows how to work with WordPress. We also need someone we can get along with though, and in some respects it's more important that we share the same values in working hard but being able to joke around with it and have fun at the same time. Because we like bullet points, we've listed the three most important requirements below.

• Proficiency in WordPress
• An ability to work with us as a team, but also independently on your own assignments

Learning goals

We firmly believe that the object of an internship, is for you to walk away from the process with valuable knowledge and experiences. We can offer you practical experience with a wide variety of the challenges associated with not WordPress, but digital marketing and the workings of a startup as well. You will be testing the theories you have studied at school, developing new skillsets and honing ones you already have.

In cooperation with you, we will clarify your tasks and responsibilities, and you will have access to any tools or guidance you may need in order to accomplish them. We hope to assist in expanding your competencies and providing the insights that working for a startup gives.
