Do you want to help the Fastest Growing Fintech in the EMEA to become an international player in the fintech space? We are looking for a commercially-minded, persistent, dedicated and enthusiastic Business Developer (Sales) who aspires to become an invaluable member of our Sales team.

We enable banks to launch local mobile payment services via our proprietary, white-label platform. Auka is the result of amazing people working together. In order to write the next chapter in our story, we are looking for a Business Developer with all the traits needed to help bring our solutions to financial institutions around the world. Auka is on track to become a leading international fintech company, helping banks around the globe to deliver better banking.

The Business Developer (Sales) will contribute in the sales process in the following main areas:

  • Analyse strategic markets together with our Market Analyst 
  • Qualify potential customers from our lead generation pipeline 
  • Client activities such as follow up leads and conduct sales meetings and workshops
  • Build business cases and contract negotiations

You need the ability to quickly translate ambiguous business requirements into analytical insight and be a strong team player. You will build a deep knowledge about the Auka solutions both from a technical, product and commercial perspective, and there is opportunity to develop and grow with the organisation as we expand. The Business Developer must expect to contribute wherever needed within the commercial team to make sure we realise our short term objectives and long term vision. 

We believe that you have the following skillset:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in relevant sales/business development role within financial technology with proof of results 
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • International experience is a benefit 
  • Willingness and ability to travel 
  • Rockstar presentation skills
  • Experience working with technology/software development is a prerequisite
  • Ability to organise and put structure into a constantly changing environment
  • Strong initiative and drive, hands-on with an entrepreneurial approach

Compensation
