Let’s face it, invoicing sucks. But it doesn't have to be that way, and that’s something Billogram has already proven. We’ve transformed billing into a positive part of the customer experience, by inventing the digitally shared invoice.
Billogram is a fintech startup whose goal is to transform invoicing from a stale payment request into a shared and interactive meeting place that creates value for both businesses and consumers. In short, we want to move the focus of invoicing from the transaction to the relationship.
We’ve recently gone through a successful pivot towards larger companies and today we see ourselves as a ‘B2B2C’ company whose role is to facilitate a financial relation between a business and their customers. Our Marketing Department is doing a great job of getting our message out to new businesses that are interested in our product, but (and this is where you come in) these businesses also need a tailor-fit and personal approach in order to understand exactly how our product fits their needs.
The role
Your role involves working from beginning to end, together with marketing to continue to approach and follow up on future customers, as well as work together with those involved in onboarding of our new customers, bringing them all the way to successfully onboarded users. Sometimes this process takes a few months, sometime a couple of years.
The role demands that you get to know the companies we’re looking to work together with closely and build a deep understanding of their needs and motivations. What makes them tick? What are their problems and frustrations? How can we help them accomplish their goals? You do this all the while you make their decision-making easier by educating them about our product.
Your role also includes reporting your prospects needs back to the development and marketing teams in order for them to continuously iterate and improve Billogram’s product and messaging.
Who we think you are
We think you’re a strategic and goal-focused person. Perhaps you’re an entrepreneur, or have had a previous role which forced you to have a deep understanding of a company's product and positioning. While you are able to spin many plates at the same time, you also know when and what to prioritize.
You understand how businesses work — especially large enterprises — and you are aware of all the traps and pitfalls (as well as the opportunities) of internal politics. You know whom and when to approach them to make progress and successfully reach an agreement. You’re empathetic and you care as much about helping our clients as you do about helping Billogram grow.
We believe that you will work hard to quickly build a deep understanding of our product and what we do to help businesses create a better relationship with their customers. You comprehend our vision, long-term goals, and you speak our language.
But most of all, you’re an ambassador for Billogram.
If you have any questions, or want to know more about us, then don’t hesitate to get in-touch. By now you’re hopefully already imagining yourself joining the Billogram team, and if that’s the case, we look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible!
