Hi, there! We’re looking for a Marketing Communications Specialist to join our fast-growing team at Airthings. We’re still a small company with around 25 employees, so you will need to be able to wear multiple hats depending on what is most needed at that specific moment. This is an environment that is fantastic for learning and working with smart people! Since you are joining the company at a relatively early stage, you also have the opportunity to make a big impact.

This role is a well-rounded and colorful role that includes all things marketing. From internal and external communication, working with PR agencies directly, delivering marketing communications that go directly to customers online and offline and flexing your creative muscle. Your tasks will also depend on your skills, ambitions, your ability to learn new things on the job, and the needs of the business. 

Requirements:

• Marketing experience
• Excellent English writing skills
• A hunger for knowledge and learning new skills
• Interested in new technology
• Sense of what makes a great design
• Interpersonal skills and likeability
• Past success (academic, professional or extracurricular accomplishments)
• Knowledge of product launches, marketing material, and retail, on and offline
• Understanding of marketing concepts

Nice to have:

• Good academic grades from a challenging degree
• Bachelor’s degree (good) or Master’s degree (better)
• Professional writing portfolio in English
• Knowledge of Photoshop, Sketch, or other design software
• Love for the scientific method and an interest in psychology
