Your Background

You have a formal education in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent (in place of that, you acquired those skills after many years of on-the-job training, working with other extraordinary software engineers).                                                                                                                   

Profile

Working in a small agile development team makes your entrepreneurial spirit tick. Experience with financial services is a plus, but not a must. You are a top tier full stack developer with significant front-end experience. You appreciate well-structured code base that's maintainable, scalable, testable, and flexible. You are passionate about bringing complex concepts to life in a beautiful and simple way. You are detail oriented and have great empathy for end-users. You can balance the trade-offs of SPA vs. Server-side rendering, and know when to use what. You will get the opportunity to define our tech stack. However, it is a plus if you have experience with some of the following technologies:

• Python, Linux, Nodes.js, Django & Django REST framework
• AWS, API integrations (preferably in the financial space with platforms such as Xero, FreeAgent, Moody's RiskCalc, Equifax)
• HTML/CSS with experience with frameworks like Bootstrap, tools like SASS/LESS
• Javascript and experience with technologies such as React.js GraphQL
• PostgreSQL and MongoDB
