At Råhandel our goal is to empower passionate small scale producers to sell their products to food business. This allows them to focus on what they love; produce high quality food and beverages. We connect the producers with chefs and food stores in Copenhagen through our online B2B marketplace. Here they can make unique agreements, save money and time, through gathered ordering, payment, and transport.

We offer a partnership (payment partially or completely in shares) to the right back-end developer who dreams about being the IT architect behind a fast growing IT start-up working for a great cause. 

You are the ideal candidate if you:

• have 3+ years experience with micro service architecture
• knows languages such as Ruby and Elixir
• share our passion for local, sustainable food
• are fluent in modern backend technologies 
• knows how to work closely with our front-end developer and UX designer
• prioritize a well structured and readable code
• will put your mark on Råhandel’s strategy through your tech knowledge
• can work independently
• are inquisitive and look at challenges as a way to learn rather than an obstacle
• can work minimum 15 hours a week as a start 
• want to get involved in the team (currently three full-time and four part-time members)
• want to work from our incubator at Østerbro

It’s an advantage to have experience with e-commerce, Lean startup-principles, Wordpress (which our MVP is partially built in) and app-development.
