At GetJenny we are building the next generation Open Source Conversational Engine. Our solution is already used by enterprises to automate and gain efficiencies in their customer service and service desk operations. To support increasing demand and growth, we’re looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in Helsinki.

At GetJenny you will help ensure we have the right capabilities in place to keep our core product running smoothly now and in the future, and that we are able to meet our customer promises. As a Development Operations Engineer, you will be part of the core team to plan and execute on our growth plans.

We are looking for a person who is self-motivated and able to make logical decisions to ensure the overall success of our product, customer and business concerns and objectives. Your focus is on designing, building and managing the platform and the infrastructure. You strive to automate everything possible and continuously and continuously look for improvements. As our DevOps Engineer you have a key role in leading us to the future of modern cloud SW.

REQUIREMENTS

Good knowledge of testing technologies e.g. Jenkins, Travis

Proficiency with Docker, Docker Compose and at least one of the orchestration tool: Docker Swarm or Kubernetes

Good working knowledge of source control technologies (e.g. Git, subversion). 

Good working knowledge of one or more scripting languages (e.g. bash, python, Javascript)

Excellent knowledge of Linux environments, in particular of the networking aspects, proficiency with iptables is essential.

3+ years experience 

Pragmatic, and comfortable to work in a fast-paced environment

Self starter and able to work independently (you will be our first designer!)

Eager to contribute to building a world class product and company

Highly organized

Fluency in English

Possibility to relocate to Helsinki, Finland
