HelloSkin is the number one online store catered towards helping those affected by various skin conditions. Our mission is to provide transparency in the product selection to assist our customers in finding products that may help alleviate their symptoms. Since our launch in July 2016, we have experienced double-digit growth, month-over-month. We are on an exciting and fast-paced journey of scaling our business and need an experienced full-stack developer to join our team!

Experienced full-stack developer

You are ready to design and implement awesome solutions and features through an innovative process with a data-driven focus. You want to push limits of product innovation using the latest advancements in technology and methods – working closely with product managers, designers and engineers.

We build products which require a wide range of language experience, framework understanding, and software environments.

We always choose the right tool for the right job.

We are all the user’s advocate and are empowered to create products that are well thought-out from architecture to interface.

We connect directly with customers who are using what we’re building and use the input to make the products better.

Responsibilities

• Build user facing products (Javascript, HTML and CSS)
• Work with backend components, data sourcing and build data processing jobs in our data pipeline (Scala/Java/Python)
• Assist in maintaining our Shopify solution
• Work closely with, and incorporate feedback from product management, designers, and backend engineers
• Contribute ideas for new features and identify areas for improvement
• Prototype product concepts
• Rapidly fix bugs and solve problems

Requirements

• Broad knowledge of the JavaScript ecosystem
• Solid understanding of the full web technology stack (e.g. HTTP, cookies, headers, asset loading / caching)
• Experience with building data processing pipelines
• Strong computer science fundamentals
• Experience with software engineering best practices (e.g. unit testing, code reviews, design documentation)
• A desire and an ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Contribute ideas for new features and identify areas for improvement
• An eagle-eye for detail and passion for perfection
• A passion for making beautiful, smooth, delightful web experiences on desktop
• Passion for delivering great user experiences
• Ability to innovate and partner with our design team to build multiple prototypes quickly

Practical details

You will be working from our office in the heart of Copenhagen right next to “Strøget”. HelloSkin is part of LEO Innovation Lab and together we have daily catered lunch, regular team events, Friday bars, and Friday team breakfast.
