Donkey Republic is looking for a business intelligence manager. You will work with data and look for patterns that help improve our technology, marketing, and business operations.

We aggregate data from our database, and ~10 other services (ie Branch, GoogleAdwords, Zendesk, Facebook, etc) using Mixpanel and Segment, and visualise it with Periscope. Almost all reports are done with live data, and are offered to various stakeholders from bike owners and cities to our investors. 

Besides reporting data, the analysis is often the backbone of product development. An example of the kind of analysis you would be conducting are: 

- Developing further the model on parameters driving conversions including price, distance to hub, weather conditions. 

- Forecast future demand for bikes at a given location, which may trigger our bike relocation operational decisions

- Identify the Bluetooth signal strength correlation with the distance of devices involved so that we can better update the location of our (bike) assets based on signal data we are processing

What we are looking for: 

- A love for numbers and statistics 

- Background with statistical methods, and familiarity with software of your choice to spot correlations 

- Enjoy the fast-pace environment at a startup

- You don’t need to have great database query (SQL) skills, but if you don’t, you are happy to learn SQL fast. 

- Business thinking. Every analysis is essentially sourced by some business hypothesis. We want you not only deal with numbers but also develop hypotheses.

Donkey Republic is a bike share service set out to revolutionize the way we transport ourselves. Our in-house developed smart-lock is operated through the users’ smartphones which provide us the flexibility required to change the way bike sharing works. We do not own or operate bikes, instead, we work closely with local partners all over the world to spread the reach of Donkey Bikes. We are based in Copenhagen, Denmark and our service is spreading all over the world.
