At Ocean,io, we’re developing a big data index covering all digitally registered companies worldwide. The technology we’re developing is market disruptive and will enable business professionals to access trustworthy real-time information on companies and the people associated with the companies anywhere in the world. Apart from up-to date company information, data will include aggregated feeds from social media and news feeds. We’re an innovative and well-funded company.

Who you are

You’re a junior digital designer, so we’re not expecting you to have tons of experience; but we expect you to be talented and passionated. You craft awesome user interfaces and you’re a wizard (or witch, of course!) in After Effects. You are confident working with digital design on all scales and platforms, and if you know the basics of coding, that’s an advantage. You’ll be working closely with communication, collaborating on everything from presentations to social media content. You’re independent and you’re not afraid to bring your own ideas to the table.

What you’ll do:

• Design app prototypes
• Wireframing and UX design
• Develop our brand identity
• Design user interfaces and interactions
• Create animations (in After Effects)
• Pick your own tools (we do expect that you’re very familiar with Adobe Creative Cloud)

However – and most importantly – you fit into our culture.

We are growing fast and as such, things change rapidly around here. You’re structured and strive for perfection but you thrive in an ever-changing environment with multiple tasks.

We’re a young company so you’ll be able to affect and develop your own position. Heck, if your ideas are good enough (and we know you get them), you’ll even be able to affect the company. We don’t believe in hierarchy, so if your idea is CEO worthy, go to our CEO. We have a thing for resourceful people, so we won’t ever put you in a box.

Despite our reference to our semi-Danish way of being, we don’t necessarily expect you to be able to speak Danish. Contrarily, if you’re most comfortable with writing your application in Danish, that’s fine with us. Yet, do know that we expect a certain level of English proficiency, as we primarily work internationally.
