GUTXY is a microbiome testing service that uses gut health as a marker for optimizing wellness. We aim to help individuals make educated dietary and lifestyle choices using the microbiome as a tool.
We are currently building our new website in Django and need someone to help enhance it even further using UX design principles. If you're super creative, driven and a self-starter, then this position is for you! This role will involve consistently working to update and improve our content presentation and design.
Responsibilities:
- Implement responsible web design principles to ensure that our company website renders well across multiple devices
- Design a framework for creating user apps that grows with the needs of the company
- Monitor website performance, watch for traffic drops related to site usability problems and rectify the issues
- Review app and feature coding and plan future website upgrades with the development team
- Assist in the development of applications and features that will be put on the website and in internal functions
A good candidate should know HTML, CSS, JavaScript coupled with experience with visual and UI/UX design.
