Good at people and project management? Volt is developing the official app-based food & beverage payment platform for Roskilde Festival, to be rolled out this year. We are looking for the right girl or guy to implement the solution. Read: communication with internal and external stalls, implementation and quality assurance on-site, managing a team of 30+ volunteers, communicating with our development team and directors in the company.

In collaboration with Roskilde Festival, Volt is developing a state of the art, super-fast, off-line enabled payment app for beers, food and what-not at Roskilde Festival 2017. It is going to be the official, phone based, payment method at the festival. This year is pilot, so everything needs to f*** shine! In the near future, this app is very likely to be responsible for +10m turnover in just a few days. Now, we have the actual app and the on-site workflow design under control, but we need someone to be responsible for communication with stakeholders prior to the festival and implementation onsite.
This is you.
The position is full-time until 7th of July, starting asap.
Here a list of your responsibility areas:
Pre festival
- Introducing our service to selected beer and food stalls on the festival
- Producing training and documentation material for stall staff (expect evening work in May)
- Support stalls on implementing products in the app and physical implementation on-site
- Organizing FAQ and information about the service on our website
- Procuring signage material, t-shirts and other necessities for use at the festival
- Making shift plans for volunteer implementation team and developing production plan for Roskilde in collaboration with Volt management
- Training volunteers in festival goer & stall handling
- Communication with development & sponsor partner, development team and directors, doing your utmost to make sure deadlines are met.
During built-up and festival
- Implementing signage, workflows and routines in 15-? partner stalls to enable <30 sec customer handling
- Managing volunteer implementation team
- Supporting stalls & festival guests on working with the app
You
- Speaking fluent danish and english
- Ready to work full-time until a few days prior to Roskilde
- Ready to work 10-14 hours during the festival
- Experience with managing people
- Quick, self-learner on new IT tools
- Experience from event execution, service/food business, or other people & service centered business is a plus
- Experience with user centric design and process design/innovation a plus
- Skills in Excel, Wordpress and Adobe package a plus
