We are looking for developers who think JavaScript and Web technology is really cool, and in addition would like to attend a startup journey where we can make local knowledge available to everyone, using a mix between people and machines.

At Sure!, we change the way people discover cities. We’re building a platform that makes local knowledge accessible through the messaging services people already use. In addition to local knowledge and personalized recommendations, we help travelers with booking, activities, transportation and more during their stay.

We are currently three co-founders based in Oslo, working full time. We are now looking for highly motivated developers who want to build the future communication platform for travel. Our ambitions for the service is reflected in high focus on code quality, scalability, testing and standardization. We go to museums for legacy and restaurants for spaghetti.

We are a Norwegian startup, and our way forward is not controlled by predefined requirements. We will not tell you who you are, but we plan to build a technical team that constitutes a complementary match, both on technology, experience and social skills. Technologies and tools we use include: Node.js, Express, React, Redux, WebPack, Mocha & Chai, functional programming and code reviews. We value open discussions around choice of technology, and strong opinions about architecture.

In the near future we will be working on (among other things):

• Further development of our API and web application for communication with our end users.
• Development of AI logic and machine learning for a mix of manual and automated responses (think chatbot).
• Integrations with third party systems such as booking, activities and payment.
