Job description

As a QA engineer at Airtame, you are an advocate for quality. You help push the standard of the product forward, and ensure that customers always receive excellent deliverables. Your role will be working closely with our software engineering team to provide both manual and automated testing at all levels of the product.

Our talented engineers are given significant ownership and responsibility over projects. We value rapid iteration, continuous integration and testing, and we are serious about producing high-quality, maintainable software. Frequent code reviews, linting, and pairing are all integral components of our engineering culture. We encourage experimenting with new technologies and constantly challenge ourselves to improve our code, processes, and systems.

Requirements

• Significant experience in IT, with an emphasis on QA and managing defects
• Ability to write test cases to run functional, automated, or performance tests
• Experience writing automated tests for user interfaces using tools like Selenium
• Experience with at least one dynamic scripting language. (e.g., Python, JS)
• Experience in Agile environments using BDD and TDD
• Experience with continuous delivery and integration is a plus (e.g. Jenkins, Travis)
• Experience testing audio visual products is a big plus
• Experience in testing hardware using differing wifi environments is a big plus
• Experience testing React-based web applications is a plus
