We’re looking for a Backend Developer who wants to build beautiful products and solve complex problems. Everyone gets responsibility for their own projects, but we also work closely and everyone does their part in continuously shipping code and following best practices.

What you will be working on

• Develop, troubleshoot, debug and implement code for the GAN Products
• Influence the overall architecture to build super-scalable software
• Develop high-level system design and low level technical design
• Follow and implement software development best practices
• Work with QA to ensure test coverage for your features and products
• Work with DevOps team-members to ensure continued stability and performance
• Initiate, implement and develop creative and innovative engineering processes and practices

What we are looking for

• A creative and passionate problem-solver 
• Teamplayer with excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
• Solid JavaScript experience - experience with Node.JS preferred
• Overview and understanding of the full-stack of technologies used in a web applications (we use AngularJS, CSS 3.0 & HTML5 on the frontend and Node.JS & Express.JS on the backend)
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Knowledge and experience with code versioning tools. We use Git.
• Basic understanding of DevOps, QA and test automation is preferred
• English verbal and written proficiency - with 20+ nationalities, English is our office language
