We are looking for a project manager with business development and organisational skills to support the promotion, funding and implementation of a series of innovation events and programs in the Maritime, Shipping and Logistics industry. The scope includes the US, Europe, Asia and potentially the MENA region.

Rainmaking Innovation is deploying a series of global innovation events and programs focused on the Maritime, Shipping and Logistics industry. 

We are looking for a project manager with business development and organisational skills to support the promotion, funding and implementation of a series of events and programs in the US, Europe, Asia and potentially the MENA region.

As we deploy the above, there will be numerous prospective positions in the geographies we implement.

About you:

• You are a graduate with 1-5 years of experience either with tech startups or in the corporate world; ideally both
• You've interacted with founders, with investors and with corporate executives
• You are eager to work at the intersection of tech startups, innovation and corporates in the maritime, shipping and logistics industry
• You have strong business development skills and you have experience working with a CRM system
• You ave developed networking and communication skills - you are convincing via email, on the phone and face to face
• You are action- and service-oriented and you have executed and managed events such as hackathons or similar
• You are super organised and you enjoy making plans and tracking progress
• You enjoy travelling and have experience working in different cultures and work environments
• You are an independent self starter… but you enjoy being part of a family

Conditions:

• Direct report to Rainmaking Maritime Partner
• Starting base salary plus additional performance and sales bonuses
• Based in Copenhagen, Denmark, with expected global travel
• Must have ability to work in Europe. We will not be importing talent requiring visas as we are in a hurry to start
