At Donkey Republic we are spreading bike love across the globe through our bike rental platform. Bike Owners make bicycles available and Riders book, pay and unlock bikes using our system. We are currently a team of 22 passionate guys and girls who need someone to work with us on keeping operations nice and neat while we work towards becoming the world's leading platform for mobility on bicycles.


Donkey Republic is looking for an Operations and Office assistant

You will be responsible for making things happen on a day-to-day basis and ensuring we have the right processes in place for long term growth.


What your job will be 

  • Supply chain: Follow up on suppliers, monitor stock and shipping process (day-to-day), order new items for stock as needed (procurement), follow up on unsuccessful shipments (lost, not received, delayed).
  • Some E-conomic / book-keeping / accounting tasks. The workload on this type of tasks is likely to increase over time.
  • Web banking and payment gateway: Create invoices, queue invoice payments via web-bank, monitor outgoing payments, follow up on unpaid invoices and other light accounting tasks.
  • Ensure the office is running smoothly: Ensure a cosy atmosphere, order lunches and snacks, find people who can fix things that are broken (ordering of snacks and other things from nemlig.com, office items from lomax.dk and so on).
  • Work on shipping locks and Donkey Kits to our partners as well as offering support on our Copenhagen Sandbox operation.
  • Other: Take notes during meetings, run occasional small errands in the city as needed, ship webshop orders. Some customer support.

In the long term, we see this role becoming more involved with operations of the company and partner relations.


Who you are

You love when things are organized and well structured. You are good at making plans and making sure they are held, you have a logical mindset and thrive in an environment where you are constantly meet by different requests. You are fluent in spoken and written English, as we all communicate in English in the office. Some accounting experience is a plus! We are looking for someone who wants to be for us for a long time and who wants to grow with the company and take on more responsibility.


Also good to know

The job will be full-time (37 hrs/week). However, we can be flexible if you have days when you need to leave early.

Our office is located in Copenhagen, Denmark. We have 14 nationalities in the team and are looking forward to welcome you!
