At Donkey Republic we are spreading bike love across the globe through our bike-rental platform. Customers rent and operate the bikes using our apps and our in-house developed smart lock that fits any bike. We work with partners across many countries to deliver a fully automated bike rental service and our ambition is to become the world's leading platform for mobility on bikes.

We are seeking an experienced Digital Product Designer to take ownership of the Donkey Republic user experience

As the sole designer in our team, you will work with our support staff and business team to understand new features and pains in the user journey and work together with our app and web team to deliver pixel perfect design. We are a two-sided market which means that our product faces both riders (consumers) and bike owners (partners).

What your job will be

Your tasks will mainly concern designing the user experience in both of our apps, but there might also be tasks involving web and offline marketing materials. We want you to take ownership of our brand and help us build Donkey Republic as the one place to go to get a bike.

Who you are

You have taken one or more mobile apps to the market. We want you to build the product with our developers and not just deliver designs to them. You should enjoy the dynamics of interacting directly with the developers and take on the challenge of getting the designs you deliver all the way to the market. It is important that you can build for both iOS and Android and understand the limitations and opportunities of both platforms. Experience with web and offline marketing material is a plus but as we are moving to mobile only, mobile is where your passion should be.
