We are looking for a curious, fast-learning engineer to join our team in Stockholm and be a part of building the core of the Henry platform. If you are a generalist who has an interest in A.I, chatbots and machine learning this role will be the perfect challenge for you. Work on figuring out how to make Henry smarter, better at understanding natural language and more. In this role you will truly have the opportunity to grow and be a key part of building an amazing product.   

Responsibilities

• Write tested, well-structured code using Haskell.
• Analyse and improve efficiency, scalability and stability of various components.
• Maintain running systems.
• Work on natural language understanding solutions. 

You’ll be a good fit if you

• Have 2+ years’ experience of functional programming.
• Are a strong communicator. Explaining complex technical concepts to designers, support, and other engineers is no problem for you.
• Know how to make trade-offs required to ship without compromising quality.
• Have a degree in computer science or a related field.

Bonus points for

• Experience with NLP and Machine learning.
• Front-end skills.
• Experience in a startup environment.
