We are looking for a technical project leader and front end developer (Wordpress), who can also drive data performance.

About us

You have probably already tried one of the many online portals for booking airline tickets or hotels - and found it much easier than negotiating with airlines and hotels directly. We have built a similar portal, but for international shipping of goods. Check it out on www.transporteca.com, and you will quickly know what we are talking about.

Today, it is not easy for smaller businesses to find a good shipping solution, when they need international transportation. In addition, many experience that they pay too much for the service they receive. Transporteca solves this, by making it easy for freight forwarders to sell their services online, with online instant pricing and schedules.

About you

You could be a recent graduate from an IT University or a self-taught software developer, with aspiration to run a large project. You are a fun and inspiring person, who brings energy to a team, and able to maintain a clear focus in a fast paced environment, where the rules of engagement are not predetermined.

Technical understanding is required, and basic experience with coding in PHP and front end development in Wordpress is a benefit. Your knowledge of database design and theoretical understanding of data performance and security structure will also help in this role.

Good communication is a prerequisite, in both Danish and English. You will be required to work closely together with overseas software developers, as well as local and overseas designers.

The job

By nature, a startup has fever roles than areas of responsibility. Hence, you are expected to wear many hats, and be able to set the boundaries of your role. That being said, the core will include:

• Work with our back-end developers, validating codes and testing new features and bug fixes against specification
• Wordpress front end development of our new website design and functionality
• Technical SEO optimisation
• Data and server performance improvement and data security
