Donkey Republic is seeking an iOS developer to join the team in Copenhagen. Donkey Republic is an investor backed startup that is spreading biking across the globe through our bike-rental platform. To achieve this we’ve built our own smartphone operated bicycle lock that can be mounted on any bike to convert it into a rentable bike. We work with partners across many different countries to deliver a fully automated bike rental service.

Our native iOS and Android apps are the faces to our customers and we work hard to create the best user experience which is a mix of intuitive UX/UI while having the challenge of working with Bluetooth Low Energy and GPS connectivity and a large user base which is mostly offline.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you; We are seeking a skilled iOS developer who can join our team in Copenhagen. You will team up with our existing iOS developer. We imagine that you have a few years of experience but write us anyway if you are fresh out of school.  We are primarily seeking full time but we would also consider a part time crew.

At Donkey Republic you will not only work with making great UX/UI, integrating with our backend, you will also be challenged by working with actual hardware. So if you are up for this challenge, Donkey Republic is the place for you.

You should:

· Have experience with developing apps that integrated with a backend through a RESTful API.

· Have a good knowledge of basic concepts like ViewControllers, MVC, Delegate pattern.

 · Have experience with source control, preferably Git

· Have tried to do a simple animation or two.

Super nice if you:

· Have some knowledge about Functional Programming (Map, Flatmap, Reduce, Futures, Result)

· Have some experience with Bluetooth Low Energy.

· Have worked in a start-up before.

· Love bikes, like we do!

· Swift 2.3 (Upgrading to 3.0)

· Reactive Programming (RxSwift)

· Alamofire

· Cocoapods
