Donkey Republic is expanding its fast-growing team and is seeking an experienced marketing manager to join the family and help building our groundbreaking bike service. These are exciting times for Donkey Republic as we are scaling our bike services and growing our business every day. You will be a part of our management team, the bike owners team and product team to develop, prioritize, implement and evaluate digital marketing initiatives. You will have your team to support you in this process.

Donkey Republic is expanding its fast-growing team and is seeking an experienced marketing manager to join the family and help building our groundbreaking bike service. These are exciting times for Donkey Republic as we are scaling our bike services and growing our business every day. We are a close-knit team and supporting each other a lot and have plenty of outings to get to know one another. 

You will be a part of our management team, and will work closely with the bike owners team as well as the product team to develop, prioritize, implement and evaluate marketing initiatives. You will be responsible for a team including our content manager and interns. 

We will be launching many marketing initiatives aimed at ensuring high traffic for our bike owners’ operations around the world. . Marketing initiatives span broadly from Rider acquisition channels; online searches, spontaneous hires on the street, affiliates and peer recommendations. 

What is key for us is to learn which activities work in which types of locations and Rider segments. We need to develop hypotheses and measure the results against those hypotheses. We’re looking for a great mix of analytics, learning, discovery, and mindful risk-taking 

You should:

• Have experience with SEO and Google Ads management
• Have experience with social media marketing, especially targeting on Facebook and using pixels
• Generate and analyse data from various marketing initiatives
• Have the technical understanding of necessary tools to undertake various marketing initiatives
• Have broad understanding of marketing management and strategy in order to assess viability of new ideas that may involve our partners
• Know about marketing strategies employed by similar companies
• Have an analytical mind with great judgement of effective creativity 
• Be a team player. Being agile and moving fast requires good people skills too
• Be fluent in both written and spoken English

Also nice if you:

• Implement technical tools in order to implement various initiatives and provide the reporting
• Have worked with startups before
• Want to change the world through biking

Donkey Republic is a bike sharing service set out to revolutionize the way we transport ourselves. Our in-house developed smart lock is operated through the users’ smartphones which provides us the flexibility required to change the way bike sharing works. We already have a fleet of bikes operating on the streets.

We are based in Dare2Mansion, which is an open and alternative office space in central Copenhagen.
