As Digital Hardware Designer, you will be responsible for researching, designing, and developing the spherical camera hardware, through prototyping stage towards a final product.

You need to know about all aspects of digital hardware development, including design, specification, implementation, verification, documentation and version control. You think ahead and bring a hands-on mentality with a strong commitment and responsibility towards your tasks, while being persistent in making and keeping deadlines. You enjoy working in a dynamic environment and multidisciplinary team and can communicate clearly to a wide public, including other engineers, customers, and management.

Expected skills/traits

• Excellent organizational skills and problem-solving capability
• Knowledge of circuit design (digital, analog) and PCB layout 
• Experience with embedded systems and SoC 
• Experience with handling high-speed serial and parallel interfaces, S/P conversion, and FIFOs 
• Microcontroller programming skills 
• Previous experience with USB protocol 
• Experience with writing/modifying Linux device drivers 
• Knowledge of FPGAs accompanied by VHDL/Verilog will be a plus 
• BS/MS in electrical or computer engineering and preferably at least 2 years of professional experience
