Yard n Bud is a new approach to sharing space, and we need someone like you to make it happen. If you have experience in software and web development, working closely with others, and are prepared to work flexibly, we'd like to talk to you.

What we're looking for

This role can suit you in any point in your career: recently out of university with serious talent in software development and web design, or already established with previous technical leadership. But you should be young-at-heart. You must be willing to evolve with the company and this very new industry.

Work weeks will vary, so you should be willing to design your own. Some weeks this will be 20 hours, others 5 hours. Until the platform is established and running, you will need to be driven from goal to goal. This will often require working remotely. You should also have a genuine interest in the purpose of the platform: using natural space more effectively and improving users' quality of life.

You should be prepared to lead a team as the platform gains momentum. The platform does not yet have a code preference, so you should be a master of your favourite language, and have experience in HTML and CSS3. This will be a ground-up project and no corners will be cut in designing an elegant and efficient software stack. As co-founder, you should also be willing to represent the company and sell to potential investors.
