Today, it is not easy for smaller businesses to find a good shipping solution, when they need international transportation. In addition, many experience that they pay too much for the service they receive. Transporteca solves this, by making it easy for freight forwarders to sell their services online, with online instant pricing and schedules.

About you

You are first and foremost interested in learning. If you are ready to jump in the deep end, we believe Transporteca could be the right place for you. We are here to help you succeed, but in a startup, often, the rules of engagement are not predetermined - so with this role comes a large responsibility.

Good communication is a prerequisite, both written and on the phone. Don't worry about the technical terms, you will learn them in no time. You are interested in learning how to bridge the gap between freight forwarders and SMEs, in an industry with a massive potential for improving processes and communication - using technology.

The job

There are many different tasks in a startup, and you are expected to be ready to set the boundaries for your role, and help where needed. That being said, the core will include:

• Follow up on customer requests - using our proprietary IT tools
• Phone support for customers booking transportation online
• Support freight forwarders in maintaining their services online
• Identification of new business development opportunities
