The Oblima platform has reached a critical milestone and now it's time to start thinking ahead. By creating a new sexy and reactive frontend, we aim to unleash the full potential of the platform - making it even more intuitive and accessible for the users.
We're looking for the right frontend developer to help us create the new frontend application. We're starting totally from scratch so one of the primary tasks will be to participate in the design and architectural setup of the application.
The tasks include:
- Participate in creating the structure and architecture for the application
- Help to select the JS framework to use for the application (we're looking at React and Vue right now - but are willing to re-evaluate)
- Weigh in on UI/UX concerns
- Spar with the CTO regarding API's and other technical functionality in order to create the best possible solution
- Actively participate in developing the application
As lead frontend developer you'll have pretty much carte blanche in creating the right solution. We have a working application with infrastructure etc. so we're in no rush to push something out the door. We're looking to create the v.2 of the application with all the bells and whistles.
What profile are we looking for?
- You've probably worked with modularized JS development for at least a couple of years, and have a solid understanding of how to structure, build and run a larger SaaS application.
- You're intimately familiar with HTML / SASS / LESS and the newest versions of JavaScript
- You love trying out new technology and experimenting in order to push the envelope
- You're vocal about your concerns - even if they might be unpopular. We'll rely heavily on your experience to create the best application possible.
- You're dependable and loyal. We're not working with sharp deadlines at the moment but dependability and loyalty are things we value
- You're willing to spend time sharing your knowledge
- If you're located somewhere near Aalborg that would be great. It's not a requirement - but we'd very much like to sit down with you in person from time to time.
But most important you want to be part of something game-changing. If the next milestones are reached satisfactory, we'd love to talk about a permanent arrangement for the right candidate.
If we've managed to pique your interest or if you have any questions, we'll be more than happy to hear from you :)
