We are looking for a backend engineer with experience in building and managing distributed systems. We care about code quality and performance, tests and proper documentation. The years of experience or any specific programming language are less important than your approach to development. We focus on building better products for our users and not reinventing the technology wheel.
About the role
Some of the challenges you will be working on are:
- Transition the current system to service-oriented architecture
- Manage and optimize the underlying infrastructure
- Ensure the reliability of our deployment pipeline
- Develop and improve features for our users
To make things more concrete and nerdy, here are some of the technologies we use and expect you to be familiar with:
- AWS
- Python (including Django)
- Postgres
- ElasticSearch
- Redis
- Go
