OURHUB is a startup based in the heart of Copenhagen, focused on making public spaces more playful and inclusive. We launched last year in Copenhagen and are expanding to Paris and 4-6 signature locations TBA during the summer.

We are looking for a talented UI Designer to create amazing user experiences. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful design, possess superior UI skills and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts, and transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces.

Tasks & responsibilities

Work with developers to design and implement the ourhub app, the web site and the hub owner dashboard.

Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas

Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex social interactions

Collaborate on scenarios, end-to-end experiences, and screen designs

Manage multiple projects simultaneously working with a high level of independence on new or unfamiliar projects. Maintain timely turnaround, meet deadlines and ensure accuracy

Present and defend designs to peers and executive level stakeholder

Effectively communicate conceptual ideas and design rationale

What we are looking for

Proven experience with UI design with portfolio of sample projects

Intermediate ability with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign or sketch

Artistic eye for design, user interaction, functionality, and readability

Knowledgeable in wire-framing tools, storyboards, user flows, and site mapping

Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies

The ability to break human behavior patterns into logical steps

Ability to work within and elevate brand standards. This includes above average typography skills, a knack for interpreting rising design trends, and ideas for new ways to improve the visual identity of our brand

Contributes ideas and effort in driving efficiency and process improvements

Strong design skills, communication skills and the ability to learn from constructive criticism

Adapts quickly to new challenges and changes. Problem solves to find the best solutions for desired outcomes

Mathematical aptitude and problem-solving skills to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
