GAN (www.ganintegrity.com/) is a software company transforming the way the world’s leading corporations deal with risk. We’re looking for an in-house Front-End Developer to join our team.
As Front-End Developer, you’ll use your experience building interfaces for rich web applications (HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, AngularJS) to deliver a kick-ass user experience for our customers. You should be skilled in highly dynamic web interface development (HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, AngularJS).
In this role, you’ll:
- Write responsive, consistent and flexible interfaces in HTML/CSS, using JavaScript and AngularJS to bring them to life
- Optimize the application for maximum performance
- Develop new features and usable ideas that will delight and enlighten users
- Most importantly, get your features deployed
A typical week:
- You'll brainstorm with Product Managers and Designers to conceptualize new features
- You'll collaborate to build new features for our large (and growing) user base
- You'll learn about new web technologies and discuss potential solutions to problems
- You'll help our skilled support team deal with bugs and troubleshoot production issues
- You'll mentor other engineers and deeply review code
Requirements
- At least two years of solid JavaScript development experience writing modern JavaScript
- A strong JavaScript, CSS3 and related web technologies background
- Experience using pre-compilers like LESS and MV* JavaScript Frameworks like AngularJS
- A desire to work in a team environment, sharing best practices for libraries, version control, IDEs, testing strategies, etc.
- Familiarity with Grunt, Bower, unit testing, node.js development and curiosity to learn the newest techniques and technologies
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
- Experience with Express or API's
